Description

For sale my vintage Omega Seamaster 300, ref 165.014.

This is the third generation of Seamaster 300, and the last one with straight lugs. This dates form 1966 (see Extract from Omega Archives), and it is in splendid original conditions.
I enclose an image from the 1968 Omega catalogue, in occasion of the Mexico Olympics (appropriately enough, this watch was in fact sold in Mexico)

It has been recently serviced by Steve Burrage (Ryte Time), and carries six months of his mechanical warranty. The 552 movement us in pristine conditions and has no traces of water leakage in the past – and as seen in the Extract is original to the watch.
It keeps excellent time (see tracking below in the upright position). The bezel has been expertly restored to full original specification by Aldo Feruglio, and the case has only been cleaned (on one lug there are some regular indentations - see pic - I have left them because they seemed to be part of the history of this piece).

Glass is the original one (notice the embedded Omega symbol), and crown is the Omega Naiad type. It comes on a Timefactors strap and it looks great at the wrist - not bad for a 46 years- old !

I am looking for 2000 GBP for this beauty, payment by bank transfer.

Do not hesitate to contact me for any details

Best wishes
Franco
