FS: Ming 20.11 , delivered in August 2022
Condition: Brand new in box - Never put on wrist, never taken out of its plastic wrap. Taken out of the box for photo only.
If you know about this watch, the first dial of its kind and its limited availability, you understand how rare an opportunity this is. I took some photos to show you how complete and pristine the kit is but refer to photos & videos from Ming and the different watch blogs (Hodinkee, Monochrome, FratelloWatches, Worn & Wound)& videos to see it out of its plastic wrap. This is the only of its kind that has come up for sale, as far as I know
There were fifty made for new customers, few more for repeat. Everything is upscale in this watch, from the very difficult to make dial, Schwarz-Etienne movement for MING Cal. ASE 200.2, with micro-rotor winding, black DLC coating and contrasting diamond-cut anglage. It has a power reserve of approximately 86 hours and is wound bidirectionally by a micro-rotor made of sintered tungsten, sapphire crystal hands with HyCeram for legibility in all light conditions. The same HyCeram is used on the luminous indices of the dial sapphire. To add even more visual texture to the rear, the inner bezel surrounding the movement is made of titanium and machined with a Clous-de-Paris pattern and DLC coated. The kit includes a pair of handmade straps from Jean Rousseau Paris (not pictured), a leather travel pouch by Studio Koji Sato, and a 700-lumen Nitecore LED torch for charging the HyCeram
The watch looks wonderful and very different depending on the angle.
