This is a very rare Minerva 140th Anniversary edition watch. These almost never come-up for sale. With Minerva’s highly respected Haute Horlogerie manufacture status under Richemont and Montblanc, this watch has an iconic role in the history of Minerva and the Frey family who guided the manufacture.This watch was purchased as part of a visit to the Minerva factory and an article was written on Timezone about the visit. A printout of the article will be provided with the watch. This watch is a limited edition of 140 watches that celebrated 140 years of Minerva's history from 1858 to 1998.  It includes a beautiful New Old Stock midnight blue Minerva alligator band, original Minerva buckle, an extra used tan Minerva alligator strap, boxes, and papers. The watch is in excellent condition and running extremely well, performance measurements are available upon request.

Service History: We are the second owner of the watch. The watch has not been serviced while we have owned it. It has been wound once per month and maintained in a climate controlled environment. The watch is running exceptionally well. 

Condition: Excellent Condition with the original factory finish, never polished

Shipping: USPS Priority shipping within the United States is $25.  For international shipping, we typically ship insured via Federal Express with an average cost of $40. For international sales, it is not possible to legally export alligator or crocodile straps from the US or import them into most countries without considerable CITES paperwork and permits. Without proper paperwork, watches can be seized by customs.  If you are an international buyer, we will discuss your requirements and alternatives including  separate shipment, substituting a high quality matching leather strap or providing a discount so you can purchase a new strap in-country.
