Description
For Sale: FINAL MARKDOWN - This is the Longines "Lindbergh" from the 1987 60th anniversary of that famous flight. It is a very faithful reproduction of the original Lindbergh watch, and most importantly has an original NOS Longines calibre (L.876.2) of the period. This is perhaps the rarest of the reissues of the Lindbergh. To my knowledge, none of the other Lindbergh reissues has this calibre. It is # 562 out of 1000 pieces.
It is in NOS condition, and comes with all the goodies: watch, box, papers, plus the leather Longines suitcase carrying case, and a beautiful wood model of the Lindbergh plan, the Spirit of St. Louis.
This is an amazing 47mm watch, rare, superb condition, with all the extras that came with it 20 years ago. Runs flawlessly, cosmetically perfect as well, and a very high-grade vintage calibre - highly prized by collectors.
The price was $6500. FINAL MARKDOWN price is $5800. Paypal & foreign shipping is extra.

This is a firm price. I'm not into stating a higher price and then bargaining down. This is a very fair price for this very rare watch. I have 30 years of references in the watch world. I am only selling it because I have bought an original version of the same watch. Help this historical watch find a new good home.
