Golden Lotus is a Chinese Erotica novel from the Ming Dynasty (first published in 1610s), and it is more than eroticism. It is widely considered among the greatest realism literature in China. This novel, centered on the protagonist's sexual relationships with his mistresses, is masterfully crafted, featuring vivid narrative and elaborate description. This book was received controversially and was banned for centuries.

Exquisitely hand-painted by a Japanese old Maki-e master with careful study in traditional Chinese style.
