Kurono Tokyo Toki, Completely new in box, unopened, sealed.

Kurono Tokyo is the second brand by Hajime Asaoka, a recognized independent name for haute de gamme pieces. These Kurono brand is not an expensive brand, but it is a rare brand. One has to go through the unusual ordering period of waking up in the middle of the night and putting your name on the interest list for most Kurono pieces.
The Sapphire crystal has a dramatic high camber with bullnose edge. This detail isn't able to be seen in this photo, but is definitely quite pleasing to see in person. The dial looks like a more handsome version of the Omega DeVille, with applied markers on the quarters and three circular rings around the dial that give this watch a pleasing modern effect. The watch gives off a look that's between an Art Deco era piece and a mid-century modern piece - both pleasing times in terms of design.
In times with the times, the word "Automatic" is written on the dial, as brands of the Art Deco through Mid-Century era would boast this feature on their dials. The dial color is officially called "Coral" but comes across as a Coral to Salmon color in person depending on lighting. The color is fairly rich, but despite this, works well overall as it can come across as pastel-colored as well. The dial color is also compatible with both light or tan skin tones.
The case is a screw back case, which gives access to a premium grade Miyota 90S5 movement. The premium grade offers more jewels (24 rubies instead of the expected 17-21 jewels) and more adjustable components overall than the basic version.
