Description
This watch is a limited edition Grande Date with a spectrolite dial.
This is the last of only eight pieces in the world. The caseback is 18 karat gold. The watch has been worn ONCE in it's life, otherwise it has stayed in its casing. Condition is 100%, this watch is brand new for all practical purposes. It has been worn once to a dinner party, that is all.
This is a very rare piece from one of the world's finest up and coming watchmakers, Jaquet Droz.
This watch is, in all likelihood, going to do nothing other than appreciate in value, not go down.

Back from Geneva and wearing this today. I had to shoot a video so
dressed up a bit and thought the Jaquet Droz Paillonee would do the trick. This is a very interesting watch. The dial is a blue enamel (or lacquer?) over a guilloche dial as the base. You can see it in one of the photos by looking at the left side of the watch in the light. The gold leaf “Paillons”
