Jaeger LeCoultre Futurematic

Up for sale is this beautiful LeCoultre Futurematic. The watch is as close to NOS as you can get. The case is totally blemish free and appears never to have been polished. The dial is absolutely original in mint condition, the line work is sharp and crisp. The movement is clean with no tool marks, and runs great. It comes with original strap and buckle, box, and pamphlets. One of the tags has the serial number and calls out as a 14K case. The mystery is the 14k is called on two of the tags but when you open the case back it’s marked 10K gold filled. Either there was a mistake when the store originally sold it or someone found all these tags and boxes and added the serial number to one of the tags to make it look like a 14K watch. I could make an argument for either scenario but in the end it’s still a great watch with an interesting story
