Description

Hi all,

Up for sale is a grande complication: split seconds perpetual calendar with moonphase.  I call it a poor man's Patek 5004.

Rare bird with the split seconds button at 10 o'clock.  Performing flawlessly.  Thinking of selling as not enough wrist time as I'd like.  Please don't mind Mr Lizard - he's just a little upset that his cousin got turned into a strap.

If you love high-complications, maybe you can give this guy (the watch) a new home.  Prefer face to face deal in Singapore.

Will consider all offers and trade proposals (up or down, e.g. Lange, Patek, etc)

In your opinion what are today's exclusive complications that are within reach?
30+ years ago, a fairly common consensus was the Rattrapante (until simplification via IWC's 3711), or the tourbillon that's now available via suppliers for many middle-tier brands, or the perpetual calendar (again, simplified by IWC's da vinci) that can now be found on the secondary market for less

She has arrived today!!
And thank God she is in excellent condition. The Watch is NOS (new, never worn). However, it has been stored for 15 years. The box is in bad condition, but all papers exist. Usually I don't do that (to buy on suspicion). I saw this watch many years ago and otherwise only know pictures from the Inter

An old love: IWC Portuguese 7 Days Perpetual Calendar platinum, LE of 250 pieces, year 2003.
When it was issued, this Portuguese 7 Days Perpetual Calendar took my heart. Love at first sight. Ok, the case is big ( 44, 2 mm ) and thick( 15, 5 mm ), but the dial is so clean, elegant and cool. And at that time, having 2 moon phase, one for each hemisphere, wasn't that that common. Credit pictur
