Description

Purchased new by me in 12/07 from authorized US IWC dealer, this is the new and impossible to find DaVinci Perpetual Calendar Edition Kurt Klaus in rose gold. Part of a limited edition of 500. Regretfully, I must sell to fund a different purchase. Self winding perpetual calendar chronograph, with four digit year perpetual moon displays. Case is 43.1 x 51 x 15.2 mm. There is a slight blemish in the case at 6:00, clearly visible in picture; easily polished out. IWC rose gold deployant buckle on brown crocodile strap. Box and papers. All reasonable offers considered. Numerous references available upon request. Act now before the likely MSRP increases in February!

In your opinion what are today's exclusive complications that are within reach?
30+ years ago, a fairly common consensus was the Rattrapante (until simplification via IWC's 3711), or the tourbillon that's now available via suppliers for many middle-tier brands, or the perpetual calendar (again, simplified by IWC's da vinci) that can now be found on the secondary market for less

She has arrived today!!
And thank God she is in excellent condition. The Watch is NOS (new, never worn). However, it has been stored for 15 years. The box is in bad condition, but all papers exist. Usually I don't do that (to buy on suspicion). I saw this watch many years ago and otherwise only know pictures from the Inter

An old love: IWC Portuguese 7 Days Perpetual Calendar platinum, LE of 250 pieces, year 2003.
When it was issued, this Portuguese 7 Days Perpetual Calendar took my heart. Love at first sight. Ok, the case is big ( 44, 2 mm ) and thick( 15, 5 mm ), but the dial is so clean, elegant and cool. And at that time, having 2 moon phase, one for each hemisphere, wasn't that that common. Credit pictur
