Hublot Big Bang Classic

Not often seen on this or any other forum for that matter. I am offering for sale or trade my Hublot Big Bang Classic! At first glance it is a simple watch. Hours. Minutes. Seconds. Not very complicated!

However, where this watch shines has more to do with its construction. This is the first watch case (to my knowledge) that has ever been constructed from elemental zirconium. Not zircon ceramic, but actual zirconium. Similar in many ways to titanium, but extra special for its rarity. Hublot has started using this material in some of its newer and more expensive models. The bezel is ceramic. The dial is carbon fiber. The case back and screws are titanium. There is a kevlar layer between the zirconium case and ceramic bezel.

Rounding off the features are a rubber strap, and a pvd coated deployment buckle. The watch feels and wears like it weighs nothing! The case is 45mm wide, so it fits firmly in the large watch category that seems to dominate the market these days.

The watch was purchased less than one year ago from a well known American AD. The warranty is transferable. The watch is in very good plus condition. A couple of flea bites to the bezel and case that you would need a loupe to find. I am grading the watch at less than excellent as some of the pvd coating on the sides of the clasp have rubbed off. I have spoken with Hublot and they have offered to replace the buckle, but cannot give me a date when they expect it to arrive. I see no reason wahy they would not honor this offer with any subsequent owner.

The watch will arrive with all boxes and papers. This model has a current msrp of $8000 US. I have seen it offered in Canada at $9760 cdn. I am looking to sell it at $5000 obro, or I will consider trade offers for watches in similar condition. I can trade up, down or sideways. Payment is expected by wire or email interac.
