Description

Selling two rare HEUER Regatta watches... both are in excellent condition.

One is a fully functioning and rarely worn example with a black dial. This watch is running well and in great condition! The second is an extremely rare salesman's dummy. Ref 134.505 Rather than a movement there is, I'd have to guess, a custom made plastic insert that the dial and hands are mounted on.

It is in nearly perfect condition since it was never worn! It does have a complete case, dial, and hands. Ref 134.500. This is collectable as is, but could also be outfitted with a movement if you're able to find one. Please e-mail with questions!

These watches were only made for a couple years, and this information comes from onthedash.com:

  • Around 1976, Heuer began to produce it own Regatta chronographs, Reference 134.500 and Reference 134.505. This first true "Heuer Regatta" featured a fixed steel bezel, and was powered by the Lemania 1345 movement, considered to be far superior to the previous Felsa movement. The 134.500 has a silver dial and a steel bezel, with gold screws; the 134.505 has a black dial and a gold bezel, with steel screws.
  • Please e-mail with more questions. Thanks for looking!
