Gerald Genta Perpetual Calendar with Moonphase 18K Automatic

This is a real piece of art, an unique and timeless design by Gerald Genta created in the 1980-90s. With a diameter of 36 mm and a height of 12mm, this watch is reputed to be one of the slimmest automatic perpetual calendar wrist watches in the market ! 18K YG polished circular case with stepped bezel and case back screwed with 6 screws. Matte silver dial with painted Roman numerals and auxiliary dials for the day of the month, the week and date, aperture for the moon phases and the leap year indication. "Baton" gold hands. Nicked-finished lever movement is Gerald Genta's Caliber 2120 (base on the prestigious Jaeger LeCoultre cailber 889-1), 28,800 vph, 35 jewels. Movement is decorated with Cotes de Geneva. Sapphire crystal with special " faceted cut". Watch is accompanied by an adjusting pin, a heavy Gerald Genta lacquered box, original Gerald Genta leather strap and two tailored made high quality leather strap. Watch was completely serviced in May, 2005 by the workshop of Hour Glass, Singapore which used to own Gerald Genta and Daniel Roth. Servicing certificate will be provided too. Watch is in a very good condition with no ding, dent except light scratches as it has been barely worn. Note that similar Gerald Genta perpetual calendar watches are available at second-hand watch shops in Hong Kong and Singapore for prices between US$10000-12000 but I am now asking for only US$6,000 for my piece.
