Description
Signed first edition of ‘Watchmaking’ by George Daniels. Special binding commissioned by well known and respected horological bookseller. This comes from the private collection of a well known horological author and comes with a letter of authenticity from his son. The letter explains the circumstances of the book’s signing by Dr Daniels and by the illustrator, David Penney, through their association with the Antiquarian Horological Society,London. Thought to be one of twelve made. The book is in very good, almost unread condition with light shelf wear and a minor scratch on the rear cover. Rare item.
