With some reluctance I'm selling my custom 47mm Ennebi Fondale Bronzo. While it wears well and is finely balanced on my 7" wrist, I find myself drawn to smaller watches lately, so this one isn't getting any wrist time. What makes this watch special? It's #19 of 24 made in bronze, 47mm, and for the USA. I can direct you the website describing the history of this watch, its makers, and their relationship to Panerai in the 1980s.
It's custom designed by me as the pictures show. Instead of the common green dial often associated with bronze watches, I chose a unique, more versatile red/brown fade for its dial. Green just doesn't work for me, and it's the main reason I sold my Panerai 382 Bronzo some time ago. The watch has a natural patina and can be polished as you wish; I've never polished it myself as I like the way it's naturally and slowly changing. While I don't have a watch timer, the watch keeps fine time to me. I've never had any issues with its movement or design.
It has a gold triangle marker on the bezel along with a vintage-tinted Cali dial that is hand applied and shows a nice lume in the dark. Being a watch made for the USA, it has an American Eagle on its crown.
Ennebi allows the purchaser to customize the caseback, and I had my name and year of purchase put on the back. For $250, this can be replaced with a new, plain Ti version (and likely customized to your liking) from our Ennebi USA distributor in California. My reasonable price of $3850 (OBRO) takes this into account.
The watch kit is complete and in near mint condition. The straps have been barely worn as I primarily use other straps with the watch. The fact that the Ennebi's strap width is 24mm opens the doors to MANY strap manufacturers from around the world to further customize your watch and increase its versatility.
The watch comes with its original black calf, tan calf, and greenish shark strap--all with Ennebi bronze roller buckles. You'll also get the Ennebi tools for strap changing and a golden keychain "NB" leather accessory. Just holding and opening the watch box will make you think you're buying a vintage piece. Its utter handmade quality shines right through and fits the watch perfectly.
Ennebi watch values are rising and for good reason. They are truly unique, well-made watches whose designs stand the test of time.
