Description

This is a unique piece up for sale for a steal of a price out of my private collection from Christophe Claret's Casino inspired watches.  This one is not serialized and instead stamped "Piece Unique" because it does not contain the distracting instructions that are printed on the of the serialized watches from this collection limited to 21 pieces, i.e. "Deal must hit on...."   This is an amazing statement piece with see through, smoked sapphire dial with “21” and a joker’s face etched under the dial.

This watch contains three active casino games, blackjack, roulette, and dice.  It also has a patented cathedral gong that sounds when cards are dealt, hit, etc.  There are 501 components to this movement!

The case is 45mm but doesn’t wear too large.  It is made of white gold, titanium, and certain parts are black PVD coated.  The watch comes on a black crocodile strap with red stitching and a deployant.  It is a complete set with box, papers, and certificate.  It's in perfect condition, no visible marks or scratches at all.  It was only worn a handful of times and stayed a safe queen most of her life.  The outer cardboard box is damaged from shipping the inner box is perfect condition and artwork itself.

A real miniature casino, it matches grand complications with the world of gaming, in the process creating a new watchmaking paradigm: the interactive watch. In addition to transparency, relief, and the passage of time, here he adds the sensory effects of blackjack, roulette and dice. An unprecedented upmarket toy for aficionados, expressing a kind of watchmaking that has cast off its inhibitions.

ROULETTE

Alongside Blackjack and dice, roulette is part of legendary casino games and so naturally deserved to figure somewhere on this exceptional piece. On the Blackjack, it appears on the back of the watch.

📖 About This Reference

The MTR.BLJ08.000 represents the Black Jack Piece Unique within Christophe Claret's collection, distinguished by its white gold case construction and dark blue dial configuration. This reference carries the "Piece Unique" designation, indicating its singular production status within the Black Jack model range. The 45mm case is crafted from white gold and features a smooth polished bezel. The dark blue dial sits beneath a sapphire crystal, while the automatic movement provides the timekeeping function. Water resistance is rated to 30 meters, positioning this as a dress watch rather than a sports timepiece. This reference appeals to collectors seeking unique complications from independent watchmakers, particularly those drawn to Christophe Claret's approach to horological complexity. The piece unique status and precious metal construction place it within the upper tier of the brand's offerings, targeting collectors who prioritize exclusivity and technical innovation over traditional complications.

The Trilogy of Time watch owners thread.
Following on from a recent suggestion I’m only too pleased to start this thread. The Trilogy of Time pieces are truly an amazing collection so to get things going here is my Tellurium.

Christophe Claret
I was recently looking at some Christophe Claret watches, and I'm surprised we don't see more of this brand on the forum. Any thoughts as to why? The X-Trem 1 is probably my favorite, I think it's easily one of the most creative and unique watches out there. The time-only Maestro is also quite inter

Need some help identifying a common base movement!
Hi All, I wonder if any our experts can help me identify the base caliber used in these two watches? Up first is the beautiful manual-wind Bulgari L'Ammiraglio del Tempo with a 4-gong Westminster Chime Minute Repeater and Detent Escapement. Here's a picture of the dial (picture credit: ablogtowatch)

In what settings, professions, and social circles are luxury watches considered acceptable?
I only own one relatively quite dress watch, but this is a question I like to ask myself as I browse some of the more imaginative offerings on this forum from brands like Urwerk, MB&F, and DeBethune. For those who own watches that could be considered "flashy", I'd be curious if you would share in wh
