Description
Cartier Tortue LM (medium) size in yellow gold from the "Cartier Paris Collection Privee (CPCP)".
The Tortue is one of the iconic Cartier cases, dating all the way back to 1906 when it was invented by Louis Cartier.
This is a men's watch in the medium sized Tortue case, measuring 43mm x 34.5mm. It bears the reference W1536851.
The watch has a display back showing the highly decorated movement, finely decorated with the Cartier interlocking double C motif.
Movement is the 430MC, which is the reliable workhorse which has been used on most of the CPCP models.
It is numbered, showing it was a limited run, even though not a limited edition.
The dial is a silver sunray dial with guilloche finish & beautiful blued Breguet hands.
The large crown comes with the typical Cartier faceted blue sapphire in its centre.
The watch is fitted with its original Cartier crocodile strap coming with the 18k gold deployant signature Cartier clasp.
The Tortue is in like new in box condition and comes with original papers and box.
