Description
I am selling my 18K all yellow gold blue dial Breitling B1. I am the original owner and this watch is in pristine like new condition with zero-no scratches, nicks, marks of any kind. I have all the boxes, booklets, hang tag and papers that came with the watch. Accroding to the Breitling rep only 24 of these were made and just a couple came to the USA. Mine is serial number 17.

Your model was upgraded to a super-Quartz movement and then the whole model was discontinued in 2005. I placed an order, and made a $3,000 Down-Payment, with an authorized dealer in Carmel for a Yellow Gold with a croc.strap and the net new price was about $8,000 and some change. Unfortunately, the Dealer lost his Breitling's agency and didn't deliver. It was quite difficult in 2006 to find a new piece in yellow gold because Breitling stopped deliveries.
If you don't get any offers for your asking price and you decide to reduce it, let me know.

My offer is Firm and it is based on:
1-Knowledge: Your B1 was upgraded and was later replaced by another model, the Airwolf. in other words, your model is outdated.
2-Personal Preference & need: If you had the later model B1, I would be willing to pay $10,000. I don't need the bracelet, it is too flashy for me and its value is overly inflated. This should in no way reflect on you personally, but Breitling's "professional" bracelets are way over priced. I do have already a profeesional bracelet that came with my "Emergency" watch but I wear the watch with a leather strap instead and the gold professional bracelet wouldn't fetch $2,000 to $3,000 if I try to sell it.
I'm only telling you this in order to share with you the background for my offer....I'm not telling you any of that in an attempt to convince you to accept my offer...in fact, I would be as happy if you get your asking price.

I am not offended but...
I am not offended but your low ball offer is extremely unreasonable, 7k and I pay all the insurance and shipping!!!!??? WTF and with out merit even with your explanations. Your offer is so you can resell it for 9-10k.
Sure the watch is no longer in production but that never seems to have an affect on the value of a high end watch and if anything out of production increases the value especially on very low production models. The watch is rather are, search the Internet for any other B1 Gold for sale or ever posted or reviewed on any website. There are none.
I have the watch hopefully sold with an offer so I hope this one comes through.

Chronometre B1...was the last upgrade before Airwolf replaced B1 Mike:
I'm not interested in re-selling and as a collector, the B1 Chronometer would be the more coveted piece in this model because of the upgraded superquartz thermocompensated technology that was added which makes the Chronometer B1 more accurate..
I hope your latest offer succeeds...if it doesn't, I will pay S&H on top of my offer.
