Breitling Navitimer 125th Anniversary - A2632213/B944

The Breitling Navitimer 125th Anniversary automatic chronograph watch, launched in 2009, successfully mixes the brand’s signature bold styling with the legendary slide-rule bezel in a surprisingly compact 43 mm stainless steel case. 

It was 1952 that the Swiss company started selling this model who's slide-rule has become almost like a trademark. The Navitimer then evolved for ten generations before it imploded in 1973 as a model with a LED and then an LCD screen. In 1986, seven years after Ernest Schneider took over the almost bankrupt company, the Navitimer was reborn as an 81600 model powered by a hand-wound Lemania 1872 movement.

This commemorative anniversary Navitimer was produced in 125 pieces in rose gold and 2009 units in stainless steel being the present example the first in the latter's production. One of the most noticeable and progressive aspects of this 125th anniversary Navitimer is the steel "Air Racer" bracelet.
