Breguet Type XX Aeronavale Limited Edition Blue Dial 3807

The Type XX Aeronavale, launched in 1994, has been reputed to be the most successful and most famous post-war aviator’s watch. This model Ref 3807 comes in a limited edition of 1,500 pieces and is the only Breguet Type XX that has a transparent back. This watch is now getting difficult to find as most of them are already in the hands of collectors. Movement used is Breguet Caliber 582, rhodium-plated, 25 jewels, 5 adjustments, shock-absorber, self-compensating Breguet balance-spring. Power reserves up to 45 hours. Hours, minutes, small seconds and chronograph with flyback function (retour en vol), which is a function that has been highly appreciated by pilots and aeronautical authorities. This flyback is a great time saver, reducing three actions to one, since it allows the chronograph hand to return to zero by simply pressing the the lower push-button; consequently the chronograph hand, back to zero, can restart immediately. Stainless steel case size is 42mm, un-directionally rotating bezel with 60-minute scale. Sapphire crystal. Screwed-down transparent case back displacing the beautiful movement of the watch. Screwed down crown with top engraved with Breguet logo. Very unique navy blue dial with tritium-coated Arabic numeral hour markers. Auxiliary dials for the seconds, the 12 hours and 30 minute register. “Baton” tritium-coated hands. Water-resistant 100 meters. Full length Breguet bracelet with deployant clasp. All original, papers (including a letter from Breguet certifying the limited edition of this watch) and boxes. Watch was purchased from Hour Glass Singapore. I am the original owner. Watch is in a mint condition and was serviced by the Swatch Group workshop in mid-2011. Since then it has not been worn and has been kept in my bank vault.
