I have just made another major purchase, so as a result, something from my collection needs to move to help fund that purchase. 

This is obviously an uncommon and unique watch.  It was originally developed by Breguet as a project initiated by Nick Hayek himself, and it has been a great success.  True to its name, the watch was created as a reference back to some of Abraham Louis Breguet's original designs (parachute shock protection mechanism, balance spring with overcoil), but with the incorporation of modern material and production techniques.

I am the original owner and only wearer of this watch  The watch is in excellent to near-mint condition, and there are no major scratches and no dings.  There are just some minor wear marks and a tiny light scratch on the top of the upper right lug.  Basically, it if in the condition one would expect on any watch that had been carefully worn in an office setting.

Movement: Manual winding Caliber 507 DRFunctions:  Hour, minute and dual power reserve display.
Case:  White gold.  Approximately 38mm diameter, 11.8mm thick

• Strap:  Stock Breguet dark blue alligator PLUS custom Atelier du Bracelet Parisien black alligator strap (also pictured below). White gold buckle. 

All relevant boxes and papers are present, of course.  There is more than a year remaining on the manufacturer's warranty.

The most recent retail price on this watch is, I believe $24,850.  Asking price for this watch is US$15,450 including insured overnight shipping anywhere in the USA (close to 40% below the retail price) and you get the additional custom strap as a bonus!  Preferred payment method is wire transfer, but other methods may be considered depending on buyer. 

I will not ship internationally unless the offer is extremely compelling.  I will entertain all reasonable offers, but I am not interested in trades at this point.

Main Dial is displayed with a beautifully hand engraved silver Guilloche (engine-turned) dial located at the 12 o'clock position. The rest of the watch has an open dial displaying the inner movement of the watch & displaying some the immediately recognizable Breguet innovations such as the "pare-chute" - this feature protects the balance pivot from cracking during shock (such as a drop or a minor knock). Since the balance pivot is easily breakable, The pare-chute allows for a smaller & differently shaped pivot which is mounted on a spring plate which allows room for play - thus protecting this crucial pivot from breaking. The watch also features a Power Reserve Indicator on both the front & back of the watch.
