Description

FS: BLANCPAIN LE BRASSUS HAVANA QUANTIEME PERPETUAL CALENDAR GMT IN PLATINUM
LIMITED NUMBERED EDITION OF ONLY 150 PIECES

Stunning 42MM platinum case with Havana brown dial on dark brown alligator strap with platinum deployant. This is a Limited Edition of 150 pieces in platinum only. Watch has wonderful heft due to platinum case and wearS extremely comfortably. Functions are displayed in four subdials; date at 3, moonphase at 6, day at 9, and month and leap year at 12. Coaxial GMt hand has red tip to align with 24 hour outer ring.

One of the most unique functions of this watch is the adjusting of the date functions and moonphase. Rather than the more typical corrector buttons you might find on most perpetual calendars, all functions are controlled by 4 levers, one located under each lug. Each changes a different calendar function. These correctors can be changed with your finger or the special tool supplied.

The automatic movement, with 100 hour power reserve, is beautifully articulated and a pleasure to view beneath the exhibition crystal.

In addition The watch comes in a large lacquered presentation box that is designed to be a humidor, complete with humidifier and Spanish cedar seperators, that will hold up to 100 cigars.

This watch is both rare and stunning, with great presence. Retail $82,400

Watch is preowned in 95% mint condition. All functions working flawlessly. Complete with all box and papers.

$47,950 + shipping and insurance - International shipping available - Wire transfer.

Watch is located in Miami for inspection and delivery if you like. Extensive and well known references will gladly be made available.

Blancpain finishes the 1315's bevels by hand. Here's why.
Blancpain noted for intricate movement decoration. Recent debate over Cal. 1315. Tim Mosso questions. Exterior angle rounding doesn't ensure mechanical finish. Bevel appearance on bridge doesn't imply mechanized process.

The "Beast"...
... okay, it's actually named Blancpain L'Evolution Tourbillon Carrousel, but given it's impressive technical and visual characteristics, the nickname may not be too far out 😉 During a visit at the Blancpain Boutique in Munich I had a chance to get closer to this very special watch, and I must admit

A Watch For a Tuesday
Ok. Maybe that's a dumb title, but it's what I happen to have on my wrist right now and I feel like posting its photo and the day of the week is as good an excuse as any. This is the limited edition Blancpain Le Brassus Equation du Temps Marchante. It's complications are two fold, or three fold, dep
