For Sale: Audemars Piguet Royal Oak Offshore Rubens Barrichello II, made in honor of the Brazilian Formula 1 race car driver. The special edition watch was offered back in 2006 in three limited versions including only 1,000 in titanium. This set is complete, as it came from the Paris AP Boutique, and comes with an additional AP "Tour Auto" strap. Everything is in excellent condition.

The bezel and pushers are black ceramic and the titanium caseback has an engraved F1 race car steering wheel. Although the titanium case is only 42mm wide, it wears larger and more visually commanding. The subdial hand colors represent the colors of the Brazilian flag. The stunning dial is partially skeletonized with a view into the movement through the grated section in the middle, which would normally display AP's Mega Tapestry dial pattern. This detail has become a favorite and is believed to be the most beautiful dial offered in the Offshore line.

The 100% new and unworn original strap is leather and the inner strap is lined with Alcantara leather, popular on race car seats with a new, original titanium clasp. In addition, the watch comes on a black with white stitching perforated AP "Tour Auto" strap in 85-90% condition and an additional AP steel clasp, an expensive extra strap combination!

Movement: In-house made Audemars Piguet calibre 2326/2840 automatic mechanical chronograph movement with a 38 hour power reserve. In my opinion this is of the most interesting and attractive limited edition Audemars Piguet Royal Oak Offshore watches out there.
