Audemars Piguet Jules Audemars 25654OR

For sale is my YG Audemars Piguet Classique Quantieme Perpetuel Automatique. This features the legendary 2120 calibre and an elegant white dial with recessed sub-dials in a bevelled 18K yellow gold case.

The movement provides a true perpetual despite the absence of a leap year indicator (you and the watch both know what year it is) and has three correctors for adjusting moonphase only, day only and all calendar features together.

Size is supremely elegant: 36mm and thickness is 7.5mm – the latter is super-slim for a perpetual of this age, and the stepped case means that from the side it looks even thinner.

I've owned the watch since 2003 and actually got married in it shortly after (watch and marriage both still going…). I’ve had it serviced a couple of times – most recently in December 2021 at AP in London (prior to that, in 2013). Since the service I’ve only worn it a handful of times.

It comes with the original green leather box and instruction booklet, and I’ll also throw in a brown AP travelling box. It has the original AP  tang buckle and an AP croc strap, plus a yellow-gold push-piece for the correctors.

Condition is good: some light swirls and hairline scratches commensurate with it being an 80s/90s watch but it’s clean on the wrist without some proper squinting.

I’m selling as my eyesight means I can no longer read it or appreciate it properly. Price is firm at this stage. No trades, please. Watch and I are in UK.
