Fine and rare Alpina Gruen watch with medical dial and independent second hand. Item produced in the 1930's, showing a very nice case and dial design, powered by an efficient mechanical movement. It was already a distinguished item back then, and still keeps its beauty if you want to wear it today.
Interesting fact: watch is in all original condition, not even the plexi was replaced. This same watch was produced in 14k and 18k gold, steel and silver case variations, being this one - 18k gold - the rarest and most desired.
This watch shares many common facts with the legendary Rolex prince. Their calibers were nearly identical, same for the case; and dial design was in the same line.

Dial and hands

Medical dial with independent second hand. Dial in %100 original condition, not refinished. Blue paved hands, original to the watch, untouched.

Case

18k yellow gold, probably not polished ever. Showing all its correct seals inside and fix gold lugs.

Movement

877 Gruen Caliber - brother of the Rolex 300 caliber. Running smoothly and keeping time, recently serviced. 1.893.xxx movement serial.

Bracelet

Comes on a brand new leather band, please let me know your preferred color.
