Vintage and highly collectible paperwork believed to be from the 1940s or early 1950s, including original setting instructions for Patek Philippe's first perpetual pocket watch (believed to be Ref 725, but buyer should verify that independently). Setting instructions consist of a single-sided piece of paper on light, "smooth" stock and are in excellent condition, with a fold across the center. They were acquired indirectly from the estate of an American watchmaker. This sale also includes 4 separate and smaller pages that appear to have been (very gently) removed from a watchmaker's Patek parts and pricing catalog for various Calibers, including the legendary 12-600 AT that beats inside the Ref. 2526, among others. Historically fascinating, and should be of considerable interest to anyone who owns this particular reference, as well as collectors of top-shelf Patek historical documents generally.
