Description

This is a Limited Edition Lange 1815 Moonphase in platinum, the Emil Lange, one of the rarest and most prized of Langes, in production from 1999 - 2000, with only 150, total, produced in platinum (250 were made in rose gold). The back of the case indicates the number out of 150 that identifies this watch. The moonphase mechanism is unique to this model and is accurate, according to Lange, for 1000 years. Unlike a regular 1815 which has 21 jewels, the 1815 Moonphase has 26 jewels, and the back is especially striking. It is also a bit thicker than an ordinary 1815, and in platinum, it has a very satisfying weight.

The watch is in mint condition, with original box and papers, all booklets, and the "pushpin" to set the moonphase. It was fully serviced a year ago by Alkis at the Lange Service Center in NY, and he has written out a detailed account of that servicing. The watch was originally purchased at Sincere Watches, the Lange AD in Singapore. The previous owner purchased it at auction at Sotheby's.

There is an 1815 Moonphase in platinum currently on sale online at
EssentialWatches for $47,000 -- for a watch that lacks papers.

I am asking $39,500, bank wire transfer.
PM me if you're interested, and I will email photos.

Not sure what you mean... Not sure what you mean by "serial number".  The case number is:
124333.  It is watch no. 83 out of 150, in the 1815 moonphase platinum edition.
