The Patek Philippe Chronograph Perpetual Calendar, 5970P, features a 40mm case in Platinum, a black dial, and a crocodile leather strap with a platinum folding clasp. The Patek Philippe 5970P watch utilizes a manual winding movement with a column-wheel controlled chronograph function and a perpetual calendar complication with day, date, month, leap year, and moon phases; an AM/PM indicator is also featured. This prestigious timepiece is fitted with a sapphire exhibition back, and is water resistant to 30 meters.

The solid platinum case. The dimensions are 40mm diameter by 13.5mm thick. The crystal is domed sapphire. The bezel is attractively massive, while the center section bows quite broadly to allow room for the large caliber, and the screw down case back seals everything securely. Lugs are flared, which imparts a vintage style, which is reinforced by the rectangular shaped chronograph pushers.

Dial is black with white gold leaf style hands and applied hour markers. Days and months are displayed beneath 12 o'clock, nine o'clock subdial displays constant seconds and 24 hour indicator, three o'clock subdial displays leap year and 30 minute chronograph counter, and the moonphase and date are displayed above six o'clock.

Strap is Patek Philippe hand-sewn crocodile with a platinum Patek deployment clasp.
