Workhorse Omega cal. 265
Hello friends
I takes me more than two years to find this 1951/1952 Omega but the waiting was worth. She has the reference 2639 and work with a manual wound movement, the caliber 265, one of the best manual movements when she came out and until today she is still keeping excellent time with 2 seconds per day. The case is 36mm w/out crown and they're not particularly rare. Omega produced many different variations of it. Actually during my research I saw a lot of them with different dials, different colors and materials. The real problem which explains the long research time was my obsession for this particular dial with applied faceted triangular steel indices and luminescent accents. I saw many in gold but not in steel. You can imagine how I feel just in this moment. I hope you like it as much as I do guys. 😃
