Omega

Hi to everybody. I have just bought a beautiful OMEGA watch ( dimm : 44 mm ). I am worried about if it is original OMEGA, I attach pictures, did anybody seen similar ? I would be very grateful for any help !...

yeah, pocketwatch in a wrist case. but very pretty. i notice the regulator is pushed wide...you may want to get it serviced.

The dial is obviously repainted. Obviously the crown in the pocket watch was at 12, while now it has to be at 3. The dial consequently has been repainted, rotated of 90 deg. And the Omega symbol is quite round and not vintage. But for 185 is a good buy, y... 

Hi FYI: OMEGA never made a time only wrist watch with sub seconds at the 9 o'clock position. this is a nice watch overall. The dial was repainted to match with it's new orientation. Good Hunting Bill Sohne

It looks like one of the many pocketwatch conversions coming out of eastern Europe. They take an old original pocket watch movement, clean it up and put in a new wrist watch case with a repainted dial. Whether or not it's been serviced is usually debatabl... 

a lot of them are a bit overly done, but this one has a very nice clean and legible dial. nice watch, nice price. i look forward to a wristshot as it doesnt sound too big. best Graham
