X-33, don't know why I do like this watch but I do. Quartz, not thermo compensated (implying not that accurate). Had many, all Gen 1, and let all go but this Gen 2 is here to stay. Nice traveling watch, only supplanted by the Skywalker. Cheers, Nilo...

Even when the X-33 was not in the Omega catalog (now is back under the Skywalker X-33) the military, in special the US Air Force, could order it in packages for the squadrons. Cheers, Nilo

My X-33 is technically a Gen1, but I bought Gen2 parts years ago and replaced the bezel, pushers, and crown. ...

Because of my rotation, I never wear my X-33 time enough to maintain the proper temperature. That's the reason why I prefer thermo compensated movements. Cheers, Nilo
