One thing about the PAM282 you need to know is that it is 40mm. The PAM240, PAM176, and PAM177 are all 44mm I believe, so size wise, the PAM282 may not feel the same on the wrist.
If you want an automatic watch with date, then get the PAM240 or PAM282.
If you don't like the look of the magnifier over the date, then get the PAM176 or PAM177.

Dial colour on the PAM 177 and PAM 240???
Thanks for the pic and comments guys. The pci of the 176 does not have a sandwich dial. why is this? Also I understand the PAM 240 has a tabacco dial. Does the 177 also have a tabacco dial?(if not what colour is it? ) ] Cheers R
