Hello fellow Purists,
Thought of sharing this with everyone.
It was a most pleasant surprise to bump into Mike horn and his Pangaea Crew in Starbucks in Langkawi, Malaysia when he returned for minor repairs. He was on his way to India.
Managed to speak to him and his crew briefly. A consumate professional and soft spoken gentlemen. He had on his PAM 307 and might I say, it has "survived" his expedition thus far. If only the PAM 307 can talk. What tales it would tell!
Took following pictures with my handphone and I must apologise for my deplorable photo skills.
The Ice- Breaker PANGAEA anchored off Kuah, Langkawi.
Mike Horn & yours truly (apologise for the overt enthusiasm)
The Indestructible PAM 307
Apologise for not able to get a close-up wrist shot of the Panerai even though he let me tried it on (didn't know how to do close-ups on handphone).
The 307 appeared it was put through it's paces and more, and it was still looking great!
For all lucky Purists who own the 307, you have one great watch guys!
Only regret I did not have my 64C on me that morning.
Great weekend Everybody.
Andrew
