Thierry Collot Biography
Since March 2015, Thierry Collot has been the President of Parmigiani Fleurier Americas. Based in Miami, Thierry joins Parmigiani from Carrera y Carrera, the Spanish Jeweler, where he spent five years developing and growing the brand in the US market. With almost 20 years of experience in the world of fine timepieces and luxury accessories, Thierry brings a wealth of knowledge to his new post at Parmigiani.
Born and raised in France, Thierry Collot obtained his MBA with a major in Marketing and International Business from Ecole Supérieure de Commerce de Reims. Thierry started his international career at Abaco Distributors in 1986, agent for the Caribbean and Latin markets for Heuer (now Tag Heuer) and sister company of the then Cartier agent.
In 1988 Abaco moved to Miami and changed its name to Andros Distributors. Thierry quickly rose through the ranks and in 1990 was named partner. Along with TAG Heuer and Maurice Lacroix, Andros, under his supervision, had taken over the distribution of Chaumet, Daniel Roth, Gerald Genta and Zenith in the Caribbean and Latin America as well before being bought out by LVMH in 1999.
In June of 2001, Thierry left LVMH and joined Daum USA as their new EVP. Under Thierry’s leadership, Daum quickly grew to become one of the top crystal brands in the US. In 2006, Thierry was recruited to join Bertolucci Watches heading up the Americas. After spending two years turning the brand around, Thierry was once again recruited to Carrera y Carrera, to reinvigorate the brand and grow profits, where he was soon named President and CEO of the Americas.
