The Metamorphosis II makes me think to (sorry for this comparison) a Valbray Oculus. But it is just because you have two dials in one watch.

Nevertheless, the Montblanc is far better technologically speaking as the dial change is activated by a button and not the manual action of his owner with a rotating bezel like the Valbray.

Best wishes

Wow you have been spoiled here. What a feast! Thanks for this pictorial report. I now wish they will make a Rattrapante WITHOUT tourbillon. Best, Nicolas

High haute horology?

I have not had the pleasure of seeing any of these highcomplication Montblanc pieces in person and so don't know a lot about the finish etc.... do these timepieces sit up with the best of best in terms of execution and finish!? I know the brand is on the ...

Wow... just beautiful!

I'm appreciating Montblanc more as I age I struggled to get my head around the brand and its pens but these pieces of haute horology stand strong with the best of the best. Hope to see some of these pieces in the near future... that finish! Haunting

+1!! [nt]

Good to see the richness of the MB collection! Also good to see that MR. Lambert is not the only one with a JLC background... Please send Maxime my best! Best Blomman

While the watches are clearly impeccable in execution, many appear to be on the larger side. What was your impression in terms of wearability?

I understand that :)

 By: KMII : October 9th, 2016-00:02
But my wrist is sadly still the same size...

Possibly...

 By: KMII : October 9th, 2016-00:43
But not sure how much the wrists will grow

LOL :) [nt]

That expands the belly size first...

And translates into stronger wrists very imperfectly

Wearable all right. But availability is more of an issue!

... for many Villeret pieces. But other lines are made to be on the smaller side, 39, 40mm. Since the late days at JLC, Jerome has been trying to get back to the "good old smallish watch days", and that's good.

Absolutely!

Our wrists have not grown by 20-30% in the last two decades, like some watch sizes Looking forward to more major brands getting the average size to below 40mm again! Thanks for the feedback
