"Orbis terrarum liber est, et illi qui non commeant modo unam paginam legunt" (The world is a book and those who do not travel read only one page) Augustini de Trinitate Liber IV The production of the first ‘modern’ world map – the Typus Orbis Terrarum – ...

Hello, K !.. Thx for your comprehensive post, also encompassing prev ones by Robin, for some deeper insight into MB's efforts & recent family of WT's !

Agree, that the attractive appeal f a bit of a smaller size, may well attract some buyers. Finally, the policy of still decent retail prize levels remain alluring and pretty unmatched in this WT world. IMO, MB is nicely cultivating its WT imprint on that ...

Thanks a lot, HS!

I fully agree that Montblanc offers spectacular value in the area of world timers. And that this combination is very appealing And it is definitely an endorsement if you consider adding one in addition to the Geophysic UT!!

I will endeavour to get to Robin's and Mike's level :)

Thanks for the review, K. Yes, I like the combination of this dial with the 41 mm case. The O.T is definitely a watch to consider...

The Montblanc WT OT is indeed a very cool watch that is an overall great package. From what I can say, photos doe not justice. I have seen it in the flesh on another wearer and it looks really cool. I think the best feature is the coloured worldmap and th...

Wish that home at 12 was more common ;)

Thanks for the kind words, CC Agree with your 12 o'clock suggestion - not a hard change to make, really. Now if one could shorten the work day accordingly...

Allure and Controversy

KMII, Thanks for the report. As I understand, there is no difference in the front of the UNICEF watches as the secret logo is on the case back, allowing discreet support for the Cause by the watch owner. Well, except that the Chinese characters might give...

Allure and allure ;)

AFAIK there is no unlimited Orbis Terrarum with Chinese characters but the Latin script one is fully under the radar As for the second part, one can also see it as alluring. Maybe they will get the industry to think harder about how to get more efficient ...

Exactly!

Caseback, it's not solid as in the press release

 By: Cchris : April 27th, 2017-21:42
Thank you for the beautiful review, only one comment on the caseback not being "solid" as mentioned in the press release, but trasparent ...

Thanks for the great review again!
