Problems with the prototype
The prototype on display at SIHH was not functioning properly when I visited the Montblanc salon. Apparently there was need for further fine tuning, but it wasn't clear to me if that meant this example or the overall design. It is a very complex and delicate timepiece, novel in appearance, but I found it very difficult to use. This is one "halo piece" that may be more at home in a display cabinet rather than on the wrist. Certainly an object of horological admiration and perhaps practicality is irrelevant as MB pushes the boundaries.

I have hard time seeing it as a world time, to tell the truth.
As a world time is a Watch which offers, at a simple glance, the time in the different 24 / 37 time zones of the world. Here, I don't see them. But one detail you didn't mention and which I love a lot is the " bridge " over the tourbillon. Exquisite! Best...

As you can imagine, this is one which intrigued me quite a bit, at the SIHH.
But if you are looking for a WT, there is a much more affordable solution, and a true one... In steel or in rose gold. ;) Best, my friend. Nicolas.
