Montblanc 1858 Split Seconds 2019.

Jun 02, 2019,03:55 AM

It is not a secret that I am deeply in love with Split Seconds. Especially when the movement is manual winding, and more especially when the movement is superbly finished, which is the case of the Montblanc 1858 Split Seconds, one of the very good surprises from this year, all brands included.

The only downside is the bronze case, as I am not really fan of that color, which I find way too trendy. Brands abused of the bronze case, especially Montblanc.

Release it in white metal, and I am 100% in.

Now, I have a question... Which didn't receive an answer.

The watch I took in picture had a white " Tachymeter Snail ".

While the press files pictures show it in " gilt ".

With the Bronze case, I prefer a matching " snail ". And I wonder what will be the good one in the definitive watch.

Anyway, when you see that...

You can only dream of having one!

Titanium would be perfect due its light weight and tantalum would be a bit of a dream since it is pretty difficult to work with for the manufacturer.
