What, precisely, were you referring to when you said, "...not the best I've had."? In my (admittedly limited) experience, companies—if someone there is thinking—seem to select straps that pair well with the basic aesthetic of the watch they're mating them with. For example, my Ball Red Label Chronometer's alligator strap is much heavier than the Chronometrie's but still supple. It doesn't crease easily. It seems perfect, to me. I have the FC Slimline Moonphase, and that strap is terrible! Almost brittle, in a sense. Perhaps the former owner (I bought it from a fellow enthusiast) has particularly corrosive perspiration… I don't know. But it's bad. Then there's the strap that came on the GS limited edition I just purchased, and that is rather in the middle between Ball and MB in terms of thickness (as it the watch case). But it is tapered, and that makes a difference in comfort. It's a bit more substantial than the Chronometrie's. But so is he watch, itself. Uh… I guess I should let you do the talking! FH
