Good questions Stefan

And yes you can always blame me and Nico as we are the Vlads .... Muahahahahah :p

Ok on your questions :

My wrist is around 6.2 to 6.3 inch. So technically a watch at 40mm is max for me. 44mm is big and here is some lug over hang if I am completely honest. However, if I don't look at it top down via a picture, or if I wear it with long sleeves, it looks ok even on my small wrist (definitely my wrist is way below average for a guy).

See, it looks ok. All my friends feel the watch is ok for my small wrist.

Looks good with sleeves

Now here is where it can look big. Top down shot (always looks worse on photo than the human eye for some optical reasons). Even then the pilot watch design , big crown, thicker case being a chrono (hence a sporty feel), helps the watch look appropriate even if my wrist is small. I am happy with the size so far smile

Especially when I look at the.....

I know the size is worth it! Large movement , large V bridge, balance wheel etc.

Maybe you can try the 1858 manual small seconds for the 44mm size? Although that watch is a lot thinner so it did feel "larger" when I tried it. The 1858 Tachymeter though at the same case diameter, is thicker and hence "pushes the watch up my wrist" and feels smaller proportionally. Large watches that are thin tends to have a "pancake" feeling on small wrists. If you can accept the 1858 Manual small seconds then the Tachymeter will fit you very well smile

Cheers
