Master Grand Reveil- hot or not?
Hi,
I was wondering what people think of the Master Grand Reveil. I think that the watch is fantastic; perpetual calender, alarm/vibrate function and it's a JLC! However, I find that there is very little information on this watch. I have been looking at it for a while and want to make sure I make the right investment. Classic JLC or fringe model?
I was also wondering:
1. Is JLC is planning on redesigning the MGR in the near future? I believe that it has been around since 2005 in its latest rendition.
2. Is the alarm is contstructed from the same materials and in the same manner as the alarms in the Polaris and Extreme W Alarm? When I heard it in the boutique it sounded not as loud or clear as the Polaris.
3. Is the Polaris is a better purchase? I have the opportunity of purchasing either a Polaris or MGR (not both!). I love the Polaris as well; its design and history is amazing and the alarm sound great.
Thanks for your input!

I resisted the urge to get this a while back, it very tough to walk away from the watch, for the price at which it was offered. Perhaps that price had to do with it not being a "popular" model, I don't know. It was BNIB at an AD for what I considered a st...

that presents great value, esp relative to other makes, even other Richmont's groups own offering. versus the polaris, i personally still prefer the MGR, though the polaris has got i think better design integrity n history
I used to own one....

Although the complications were quite interesting, I found it heavy and big for my hand...... However, if it fits to your wrist, it could be an interesting choice.... But, as Nicolas suggested, do not treat watches as investments, as you will be disappoin...
