My Sincerest Wish For JLC in 2008
I wish for a watch similar in proportion, slimness and grace to a Vacheron Constantin Patrimony Contemporaine Automatic with date, but available in steel so as to be more affordable. That is to say, imagine if the Master Ultra Thin were 40mm, but kept the nice thin bezel, or conversely if the Master Control were made with a thinner bezel like the original Mater Control series. I have come to the conclusion that it isn't so much the larger size of the watches themselves that I find less aesthetically pleasing, but the wider, clunkier bezel. It just has a heavier look which to me somehow misses the mark as a classic. OK, I'm done! 8>)
