One more to bid 2022 adieu
This has been a difficult year, but through ups and downs we have persevered. Thanks to a suggestion by Nico I began to hunt for this piece and was fortunate enough to find one in a circumstance I could not refuse.
I find the grand taille case is ideal for me and have been wanting to have a steel piece for daily wear for some time. I feel that although steel is not the “finest” it is the fullest realization of the idea of this watch. I so enjoy it’s range - how casual and how formal it can be. A particular feature of the design which tickles my fancy, regardless of the case material, is the convex sapphire. It’s just a touch, but by not being flat it makes a real difference - feels more sleek and modern, while still remaining timeless and classic in appearance overall.
Thus far I have used the verso blue dial the most, particular with darker attire. I am curious to see how this evolves.
