I have a few long power-reserve watches that don't quite have enough power at the far end of their springs. This will cause them to stop after the stated power reserve time, but before the spring is unwound, but any little motion of the movement will kick... 

9 days, 11 hours and counting... if it was just from the movement of me picking up it would have only run a few minutes. but since its showing 10 hours later as 10 hours later... then its still running as usual if it gets to 10, im officially calling it m... 

That's even more impressive! I remember one of the long movements has enough spring for 10 days, but is limited to 8 by a stopwork to keep accuracy, but yours doesn't seem to need that either! A

would run for 10, but only accurate for first 8.. im guessing they are all like that... can run for 10 but only accurate in top 8 so they just say its 8 day.. my pam 190 would only run for 8 tho and had same movement as the grande date.

has the same movement as the Master 8 day...not the RGD. A

design and layout look identical to me besides the double date of course. but the gear and barrel arrangments look same... just different shape movement

now that I look carefully. What always catches my eye is the power reserve on the back of the 190, and the matching plate for the sector-gear on the Master Eight Days A

My 70eme: 9 Days and a Half. Same for my Pam 198. Same for my JLC 8 Days Perpetual. 15 Days for my MMR ( not less, not more ). And 9 Days, 12 hours and 30 minutes for my U.F Freak ( instead of 7 ). On the other side, I was never able to measure it on my I... 

so i guess we're going to 10... i have a feeling it might hiccup on the date change and die out then... with all the energy needed for that transition

9 days, 22 hours, 43 minutes, 20 seconds... not bad.....

horrible.. as you would guess... the movement was barely running so it was real slow.. yesterday was decent.. as noted.. but today not so good.. least i know if i dont get around to winding it on sunday like usual i can go till wednesday morning easy. I L... 

As it is really cool to not have to set the Calendar and to wind the watch every day you don't wear it... Best. Nicolas

but too much $ the other versions have little things that bother me.. it i was going with a perp... id just say screw it and get the gyro #1... best perp made imo.

best gyro tourb made, best EOT made best retrograde date made, best display back made, best use of dial colors used the clasp could use some help tho... id prefer on tang (pretty sure it just comes on the standard double deploy right?)

but later decided that a conservative 8-day would be better, knowing that the watch would run AT LEAST 9.25 days, but 8 (for sure) with accuracy. -Dean
