Duometre -- does anyone change the strap?
Still very much enjoying the Duometre, and I wore it to the boutique yesterday when I went to see some of the novelties for the first time. A question, though, for fellow-members of the Duometre club: have any of you changed the strap for another color? T...
I was thinking maybe black alligator but
with edges painted the same color as the chrono hands? Could be cool. 😎
That's a cool idea. I would probably go a darker strap color to match the dial.
The stitching in the color of the Chrono hands is a good idea too. For some weird reason, certain colors of edge paint just don't hold up as well as black edge paint. It doesn't make a lot of sense, but I remember the gray edge paint on a brand of straps ...

It never crossed my mind that edge paint could degrade, but good to know.
Given that few of my watches stay on the OEM strap…
I most certainly would. The VC1972 being the one exception 😊🤷🏻♂️ But unfortunately the Duometre is still on the to get list, so no pictures…
