Back in the days, Jaeger-LeCoultre branded their watches and clocks three different ways: 1) Jaeger-LeCoultre, 2) Jaeger and 3) LeCoultre.
Jaeger we saw mostly on clocks and instruments but there were a few watches as well…
Here we focus on one of the classic alarm clocks from that era were the Ados Model 4.
Inside is a 2 days movement, Calibre 220 (based on Calibre
211) with a diameter of 42.90mm and 12.35mm thick,
which were included in a
series of movement JLC called “grosse horlogerie” (big watchmaking).
A very simple solution for a portable alarm clock.
Unfolded it stands on the part covering the dial when folded.
Side by side, unfolded and folded.
And a small pocket for transportation.
Price back in 1952 for the Model 4 were 55 French Franc.
