The Squadra Hometime: the Reverso icon exploring new fields!

Welcome to all those who have waited for a while to see some pictures of the new Reverso Squadra Hometime.

This new model is now in the stores as you have noticed.

The Squadra Hometime is exploring the market of the large watches quite obviously, but furthermore it explores the market of the sport watches.

The look is really modern and younger than its more classical counterparts.

The range of XGT Reverso models has brought some large watches already, but none of them IMO has the casual appaerance of this Squadra.

Here are some pics for you to decide:

The case is less rounded than the traditional Reverso, the form having its share in the overall modern style.

The dial is essentially casual, giving its understated look to the watch.

The finish of the case is equivalent to the finish of other Reverso models.

The movement is a square version of the Hometime movement, with a simple and nice finish, seemingly equivalent to the finish of the Master Hometime (the Master Hometime having a gold oscillating weigth, unlike the Squadra).

Squadra may become a fashionable brand in itself!

The watch is said to be huge but honestly that's not true. This is a large watch, but wearable by many people. I could nearly wear it in spite of my small wrist. I would just need a softer strap (the standard strap has metallic inserts to get rigidified, and doing so doesn't fit small wrists).

Here is a view of a Reverso GT case on the same wrist:

So yes it is a real JLC watch, a nice bargain IMO for those who want a nicely finished modern Reverso. The technical specifications are quite upscale. The watch has IMO a lot of charm. It could well become a fashionable hit for the youth.

And hopefully we will also get some new products next year, in the GT case, for the old grandfathers like me!

The Reverso range is still alive, more than ever!

Cheers
