Jaeger-LeCoultre

Some pictures of a vintage military Jaeger-Lecoultre I love more and more: the WWW.

WWW stands for Wrist Watch Waterproof. This 35 mm military watch has a ton of charm. Its chromium plated case is not that small once on the wrist.

Tough to find in good condition...

Its back tells many stories. It was issued for the British infantry, in 1944.

And let's not forget its movement, the Cal 478, which is a feast for the eyes, made at a time where tool watches had refined movements. Where can you find such beautiful movements in modern watches which won't cost you an arm?

Its fixed bars will limit you in the straps choice, but a NATO is the easiest way to go.

Or a Nylon / Canvas band.

Definitely one of the very good vintage Jaeger-Lecoultre, and one of my favorite watches from the " Dirty Dozen ".

Best,

Nicolas
