Initial date used on perpetual JLCs
Imagine you're crafting a Master Perpetual or Grande Memovox; a watch with a perpetual calendar (a fine job!).
What date do you "set" or "assume" as you assemble the watch? Do you click it on to the date on the day the watch is completed, or assemble it in that position?
And does it differ for each "generation" of watch? e.g. is there a "base" date for the current Grande Memovox, but which might change for the upcoming Grand Reveil?
Hope this makes sense, and the abundance of "" isn't too off-putting
