This month the famous Mark Eleven celebrates it's 65th birthday.
In JLC' 'golden book' of movements the very first batch of cal. 488Sbr movements dates 4th December 1948.

The shown watch is from the second batch of 1948, still entirely in its condition as delivered, original dial layout and unconverted winding crown system, in unpolished NOS condition (except non original strap). Box in background is from the former RAF spare part inventory.

Hi Ilja, The mk11 is a clear target for me, with the red Reverso, the white Reverso, the Reverso 60eme.....and maybe a cal 478 SHOM. I'm not interested in military watches, but this one is a post-war, and a nice one. A mk11, then a Spitfire..... But it's ...
